A Clear Plan to Put Your Detailing Business in Front of the Right Customers

This strategy was built specifically around your situation — where you're at today, what you're working with, and what makes the most sense as a starting point.

You're Not Alone In This

You've shared that you're building your detailing business on the side while holding down a full-time job — and right now, most of your clients are coming through word of mouth, friends, and family. You're getting some work in, but it's not consistent, and weekends can feel unpredictable.

That's a very common place to be. A lot of detailers start exactly where you are — doing good work, but not yet having the right system to put that work in front of the people who are already looking for it.

The goal of this plan isn't to overwhelm you with marketing. It's to give you a clear picture of what's available, what makes sense to start with, and how we can build from there at a pace that works for you.

An Honest Look at Where Things Stand

Before anything else, it helps to understand what's working and what's creating the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Client Acquisition

Word of Mouth Can Only Go So Far

Right now you're averaging around 2 clients per weekend — sometimes less. Word of mouth, friends, and family are a great starting point, but they aren't a reliable or scalable system. To move toward 6–8 clients per weekend consistently, you need a way for people who don't know you yet to find you and reach out.

Online Presence

No Foundation to Build From Yet

Without a Google Business Profile, a landing page, or any active advertising, your business is essentially invisible online. When someone in Katy or Cypress searches for a mobile detailer this weekend, there's no way for them to find you — even if you're exactly what they're looking for. Before any marketing can work, that foundation needs to be in place.

Availability & Market

Weekends Are Your Window

You're available Friday through Sunday and focused on Katy, Cypress, Fulshear, and inner Houston. These are strong markets for mobile detailing with real demand. The opportunity is there — the goal of this strategy is to make sure the right people in those areas can find you and know how to reach you when they're ready.

The Principles Behind Every Recommendation

Every part of this strategy is built around one idea — giving your business the right visibility and the right information to connect with new customers.

01

Foundation First

Before running ads or scaling anything, your business needs to be findable. A Google Business Profile and a landing page are the non-negotiables — they're what everything else builds on.

02

High Intent Over High Volume

Google Search puts your business in front of people actively looking for a detailer right now — not people passively scrolling. That's why we start there before going broader with social ads.

03

No Lead Left Behind

Getting someone to your page is only half the job. A confirmation and follow-up system makes sure that when someone reaches out, they hear back and the appointment is locked in cleanly on both sides.

04

Build for the Long Term

The customers you earn aren't one-time transactions. With the right retention tools — SMS, email, and seasonal offers — your existing clients become a repeating source of business you don't have to constantly replace.

05

Transparent Pricing & Reporting

No hidden fees. No surprises. You see exactly where your money goes, what's working, and what we're adjusting — through clear reporting and pricing that makes sense from day one.

Where We'll Focus

All campaigns and targeting will be built around your active service areas.

A Phased Approach — Start Where It Makes Sense

You don't have to do everything at once. Each phase is designed to stand on its own and build toward the next.

Step 1 — Before Anything Else
$400 One-Time

This is where we start. Covers your landing page build and Google Business Profile setup — everything you need to have a proper online presence before any advertising begins. No monthly commitment required at this stage.

Step 2 — When You are Ready to Advertise

The monthly plans below cover everything that comes after the foundation is built — Google PPC, Facebook ads, follow-up systems, and more. A 3-month minimum commitment applies once advertising begins, as Google requires at least 3 months to properly test and optimize campaigns for your market. Ad spend is separate and managed on your end.

Note on ad spend management: Once your monthly ad spend exceeds $1,000, a 12% management fee on the total ad spend is added to your monthly plan. This covers the additional time and expertise required to properly manage, optimize, and scale larger budgets — and it's the standard rate across the industry.

The Foundation

The essentials to get your business visible and ready to receive customers

Phase 1 is where your advertising begins. Now that your business has a proper online presence, we focus on putting it in front of people who are actively searching for a detailer in your area. Google PPC is where we start because the intent is already there — these are people looking for exactly what you offer, right now, in your market.

  • Google PPC campaign management — your ads are actively monitored, adjusted, and optimized each month for your market and service area
  • Booking confirmation system — automated confirmations sent to both you and the customer so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Monthly performance report — a clear look at what's happening with your campaigns each month

The Full System

Phase 3 brings everything together into a full system — one that doesn't just bring in new customers but keeps your existing ones connected to your business. SMS and email marketing give you a direct line to past clients, and retention offers give them a reason to come back. Multiple Google campaigns allow you to target different services and audiences simultaneously as your business grows.

  • Everything in Phase 2
  • SMS & email marketing — a direct way to stay in touch with past customers and keep your business top of mind
  • Retention offers — seasonal promotions and loyalty incentives designed to give existing clients a reason to come back
  • Multiple Google ad campaigns — target different services and search terms as your business expands
  • Full CRM setup — manage every lead and customer in one organized place
  • Weekly reporting and ongoing strategy conversations
What This Looks Like in Practice

Here's how the pieces connect — from someone searching online to becoming a customer of your business.

1

Your Business Becomes Findable

Google ads and your Business Profile put your business in front of people actively searching for a mobile detailer in Katy, Cypress, Fulshear, and Houston — giving you visibility with people who are already looking for the service you offer.

2

They Land on a Page Built Around Your Business

Your landing page gives potential customers a clear picture of your services, your availability, and a straightforward way to get in touch — so there's no confusion about what you offer or how to reach you.

3

The Appointment Gets Confirmed on Both Sides

Automated confirmations go out to both you and the customer so the appointment is locked in clearly, nothing gets missed, and your weekend schedule stays organized.

4

Past Customers Stay Connected to Your Business

(Phase 2 & 3) SMS and email follow-ups with seasonal offers give your existing clients the right information and the right reason to stay connected with your business over time.
